Board of Directors

Chuck Proudfit is President of the Board for At Work on Purpose. He also leads a business consultancy called SKILLSOURCE, and is an advisory board member for Self Sustaining Enterprises, specializing in BIZNISTRY. Chuck holds a degree in organizational development from Harvard University, and has served in general management at Procter & Gamble, the Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery, and LensCrafters Corporation. An ordained pastor, Chuck is an elder at Grace Chapel in Mason, Ohio, and the author of Citywide Workplace Ministry in a Box.

Pete West is the Director of Self Sustaining Enterprises, harnessing enterprise activity to offer a “hand up” rather than a “hand out” to under-resourced people around the world. Through the ORCA Center, an innovation center with officing, equipping, incubation and acceleration for faith-based enterprises, Pete is living out his passion to combine a “head for business” with a “heart for ministry”. An engineer by training, Pete spent over thirty years at Procter & Gamble, holding a wide range of technical and managerial roles both in the U.S. and internationally.

Julie Thomas is the President of Priority Logistics. PLG is a WBENC Certified (Women Owned Business) 3PL company, providing distribution management services for time-critical shipments. She is a Shareholder and serves on the Board of Directors of Priority Dispatch, Inc. Founded in 1973, PDI is a third-generation "last mile" logistic provider delivering solutions throughout the Midwest. Priority is publicly recognized locally, as well as nationally, for outstanding achievements in strategic growth, company culture, innovation, quality improvement, and executive leadership. Julie is also the owner of Thomas Consulting Group. TCG provides business consulting, executive coaching, and training to profit and nonprofit organizations. She is the founder of Cincy Chaplains, is a Licensed Social Worker, Ordained Senior Chaplain, Certified Business Coach, public speaker, teacher, and trainer.

Ryan Chapin is Founder and President of a technology consulting firm called TRUSTED CONSULTING. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Ryan has served in executive engineering leadership positions at GE Aviation and Field Aerospace and is a former leader of his church's diaconate. His passion for workplace discipleship led him to author the book, "GO Make Disciples At Work." Ryan is married to his lovely wife, Wendy, and has two wonderful children.

Karla Blair holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She has worked in various Senior Finance and Accounting roles at Microsoft and, currently, GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH. Karla helped start and now leads a global, faith-based employee resource group at GE Aerospace. The group has over 500 members and is growing daily. Karla is the Director of Finance for multiple nonprofit organizations including Pathway to Hope in Hamilton, OH; Restoration Ranch in Monroe, OH; and The Zadok & Joyce Wabulembo Memorial Foundation in Mason, OH. Karla and her husband of 26 years, Chuck, reside in the northern Cincinnati area. Their blended family consisting of 5 sons, 1 daughter, and 4 grandchildren is a testimony of God's grace and mercy.

Jim Wilz is the former CEO and co-owner of Sur Seal. Currently, Jim is a family business advisor/Board director to select family businesses in Greater Cincinnati. His areas of focus are strategic growth, family/business succession, and Board governance. He is also a board member and past President of the Great Parks Forever Foundation. Recently, Jim was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Council of Xavier University. Jim has been an active member of Monfort Heights United Methodist Church for over 30 years.

Danny Stull is the founder of Merchyme, a pioneering company focused on employee web stores, offering unique services with no minimums and post-pay codes for controlled employee spending. He is also the visionary behind Refill Trip, creating all-inclusive trips to Costa Rica for business owners, pastors, and parents, who need to have their cups refilled. Danny holds a strong belief in operating with integrity and Biblical principles, guiding his businesses with clear vision and a passion for loving others. Danny is dedicated to balancing family, faith, and work, seeking to make a lasting impact on the lives of others, especially his wife and 4 boys.

Audrey Pumford is broadly active within the At Work On Purpose ministry, and one of the leaders launching and growing our Young Professionals ministry. Audrey has completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry, and she is now a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Cincinnati, where she leads one of its research laboratories. Audrey is recently married, and settling into family life in Greater Cincinnati.
