Join Jesus for a Reboot This Christmas Season!

I work at the Tipp Center as a Marketplace Shepherd. It’s Marketplace outreach, a “temple” of “work-ship” from which the Holy Spirit flows into the community in which it is located (Tipp City) and beyond.
We’ve striven and seen wonderful fruit from enabling the Spirit of ConneXion to flow from God through us, not enabling us to be “Holy Spirit” hot spots, but a community connection center, connecting “real needs, good deeds, and people from all walks of life” in our portion of Miami County and beyond. We’re concluding our eighth year, and we’ve seen God bear some amazing fruit through this marvelous project.
But today I want to make you an offer you can’t—or perhaps could be shouldn’t—refuse.
I want to encourage you to consider a “Christmas Reboot” this holiday season.
I want to invite you to “shut down” with just Jesus and your family on Christmas Day and the days Year.
I want to encourage you to “reset” in Jesus this year, and to become a “T.I.P.P” Christian for 2026. And for the rest of your life.
Let me explain what it means, why you should want to do this, and how Smiling Icon Ministries can help you do this.
Jesus Christ, the First T.I.P.P. (Trinitarian Incarnational Practice and Proclamation) Christian
Before there was a human, before there was a planet Earth, before there was a sun, moon, and stars—before there was this universe—there “was” that which simply always “is.” There was God. The great “I AM” who simply is called that because He is that which simply “is.” He simply is what “is.” He’s always been. Technically speaking, He doesn’t even exist, because the Greek word from which the word “exist” is taken means to “exo-istemi”—to “stand” (istemi) “out” (exo)—from not having existed before. You and I “exist” because we stand out from nonexistence. But the “I AM” is “what” (actually “who”) simply “is.”
And He’s not someone who simply “is.” He “is” a “they”—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He’s a Being in Communion, a Being who lives in “ConneXion,” as it were. He’s one, but three.
And the Christ child came out of that “Trinitarian” mode of being. Eternally “connected” to the Father and Spirit. Eternally being “generated” as that which comes out of God, God’s creating “Word,” His only naturally begotten or generated Son. Eternally sharing and radiating and being connected by and connecting with the Holy Spirit. And for us, He did something amazing.
He “incarnated.” “The Word BECAME flesh” (John 1:14)
So Jesus was “Trinitarian” . . . and “Incarnational”
The uncreated God didn’t just stay in heaven. He came from heaven to earth, not just to show us the way, but to be the Way. The way “creation” is connected to the uncreated. The Crossroads of God’s world and man’s. The “Word became flesh,” and eternity and non-eternity were permanently connected.
The next singularity of the next Big Bang was gestating in the womb of Mary. God and creation were becoming one.
He didn’t just stay in heaven and teach or command. He came into this world of marketplaces and churches, and ministry. He “in”-carnated into the world. He wants us to, too.
He Lived “Trinitarian . . .Incarnational . . . Practice . . .” Life Style
Jesus didn’t come down and simply teach and preach, and try to talk us into anything. He practiced the Trinitarian lifestyle. He prayed and studied, not to learn knowledge but to be irradiated by God’s presence and be a Holy Spirit “Hot Spot.” He was so “filled with the Spirit” that power often just “oozed” out of Him (Luke 6:19). His holiness was contagious. It could travel through clothing (the hem of his garment) (Luke 8:44) or the shadow of one of His believers (Acts 5:15). And the world around Him immediately became an anointed, grace-filled place simply because He was there. He was a “holy host of the Holy Ghost.” And people wanted to understand “why” things were so much better when channels of His Spirit were around. So He began to teach! To “proclaim” the truth of life that undergirded Him and made Him so potent. And people crowded around Him to hear what He had to say.

He wants you to be one too. So why don’t you consider, after all the shopping is done, all the relative hopping is done, and madness is over—why don’t you consider and reflective time of reset with Jesus in this context? Forget what you think you already know. Start over with Jesus. And let the new “you”—the T.I.P.P. you—“Big Bang” into your context in 2026.
