We’ve always described At Work on Purpose as a “how to” ministry, focused on the complexities of fully integrating Christian faith with everyday work. While equipping for implementation is important, sometimes even more is “caught than taught”. With this in mind, we’re launching and advancing workplace ministry prototypes across the city of Cincinnati. These prototypes show a “finished product” that encourage, equip AND engage working Christians in workplace ministry. This was the predominant theme of our 2019 XL Summit, which featured – among a number of prototypes — our growing partnership with Helen Mitchell and the Talbot Center for Faith, Work and Economics. We’ll be working closely with Helen in Cincinnati to tackle “under the hood” issues for cultivating work life ministry in and through local churches across our region. What about you? Where are you pushing past “know how” for “show how”?
