“Two people are better than one, for they can help each other succeed.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9

Our work world regularly conditions us to “think for yourself;” or “be independent”; or “if you want it done right, do it yourself.”  While we certainly want to be capable individuals, God has designed us to do better together:

• Mutual Effort: we generate a better return for the labor
• Mutual Support: we fill gaps for one another
• Mutual Encouragement: we motivate each other
• Mutual Strength: we resist attacks and setbacks together

This pattern is even more powerful at work when two believers are alongside each other, for where we do so, Jesus is in our midst (Matthew 18:20).  Do you have a fellow Christ follower at your side in the workplace?
